Jack Thornton

Jack Thornton has been a Malone assistant sprint coach for the past 2 seasons. Originally from Steubenville, Ohio he graduated from The College of Steubenville and Boston University. He is a retired social studies teacher in the Warren City School System. A USATF Level I certified coach, he has competed in the National Senior Olympics the 100m, long jump and triple jump. Perhaps his greatest accolade includes founding the Warren Striders Track Club for the youth of Warren Ohio in 1977 and being inducted into the Warren Sports Hall of Fame for his dedication to the youth of Warren and Trumbull County in 2000.
